History
An
angular script, runic alphabet sprung from Old
Sosarian, a language of largely symbolic
expression. The severe shapes of runic letters
reflect their first usage by stone cutters to
denote places of worship or buildings of royalty.
Scribes and priests spread the language through
epistles and edicts. To this day, formal
pronouncements from the King are scribed in runic,
so that the people of Britannia may never forget
its history.
